Dedicated to William Butler Yeats
(a found poem)
..."and lifts to the changing moon his changing eyes."
and while still I may
I write for you,
the Love I lived
the dream I knew.
our souls are love
and a continual farewell,
but I was young and foolish
and now an full of tears.
and I, Unwearied still,
Lover by Lover
could share in that discourtesy of death -
to find out some appropriate pain -
to find what once I had
and know what once I have known
until I am driven mad;
but too long a sacrifice
can make a stone of the heart.
I have the wisdom love brings forth -
for he who makes you bitter makes you wise.
and in the foul rag and bone shop of the heart
only the dead can be forgiven -
but when I think of that my tongue's a stone.
and I am fastened to a dying animal
that must sleep shriek struggle to escape
as recollection or the drug decides.

Dedicated to: RuPaul 2010 & Michelle Visage 2011
she
spits
smokes
tells dirty jokes
drinks
smiles
hitch-hikes for miles
she uses
she quits
in love with her tits
pierced and
tattooed
and in a bad mood
she fucks
she brags
dumps all of her snags
she
just got paid
needs to get laid
wants to hire a maid
but she ain't never afraid
one day she'll be rich
claim the throne of a bitch
